Straight-through Diaphragm Valve (SDV)
The straight-through diaphragm valve is a mainstream type of diaphragm valve, characterized by a full straight-through flow channel without weir platform inside the valve body. It features extremely low medium flow resistance, no medium retention dead corners, and excellent flow capacity, which is especially suitable for the transportation of low-viscosity, large-flow media in industrial pipelines.
Main Advantages
- Full straight-through flow channel, low flow resistance and large flow capacity;
- The diaphragm isolates the medium from internal parts, no corrosion and zero external leakage;
- Simple structure, easy maintenance and low replacement cost of wearing parts;
- Various driving modes (manual, pneumatic, electric) are optional to meet automatic control requirements.
Key Technical Parameters
- Valve Body Material: Cast iron, Carbon steel WCB, Stainless steel 304/316 (PTFE lining optional for corrosive working conditions).
- Diaphragm Material (Core): EPDM (standard), NR, NBR, PTFE (for strong corrosion).
- Nominal Pressure: PN0.6 ~ PN16 (0.6MPa ~ 1.6MPa).
- Temperature Range: -40ºC ~ +180ºC (depends on diaphragm material).
- Nominal Diameter: DN15 ~ DN600 (Threaded connection for DN15-DN50, Flanged connection for DN25-DN600).
- Internal Parts Material: Stainless steel 304 (valve stem, pressure plate), cast steel (valve cover).
- Sealing Class: GB/T 13927 Class (no visible leakage).
