Product Description

The ball sphere is the core sealing and control component of ball valves, whose structural design and port type directly determine the valve's pressure resistance, sealing performance and application scenario. According to industrial application requirements, it is mainly divided into structural type and port type, with common materials including 304/316/316L stainless steel, carbon steel, duplex steel and wear-resistant alloy. Different types are customized for medium & low pressure general piping, high pressure large-caliber pipeline, particle/high viscosity medium, flow regulation and multi-loop medium switching, fully meeting the needs of petrochemical, municipal water supply, metallurgy, mining and heavy industry.

1. Structural Classification

 

1. Floating Ball
    
   Simple structure and mature craftsmanship, no fixed shaft, relying on medium pressure to fit the valve seat for sealing. Suitable for medium & low pressure (PN≤16MPa), small and medium caliber industrial piping, general on-off control of non-corrosive/weak corrosive medium.
2. Fixed Ball
    
   Equipped with upper and lower fixed shafts, only rotating during operation. Sealing performance is not affected by medium pressure, with small operating torque. Ideal for high pressure (PN≥20MPa), large caliber (DN≥100) and corrosive medium working conditions.
3. Elastic Ball
    
   Adopts elastic material or elastic groove design, which produces micro-deformation under pressure to make up for the defects of sealing surface, with ultra-high sealing reliability. Applicable to high temperature & high pressure (≤425ºC/≤32MPa) and strong corrosive medium working conditions.
4. Eccentric Hemisphere Ball
    
   Hemispherical valve core with eccentric design, featuring large flow capacity, strong wear and erosion resistance. Specialized for piping with particulate, high viscosity and abrasive medium in metallurgy, mining and heavy industry.

 

2. Port Classification

 

1. O-Port Ball
    
   Standard straight round port, with large flow capacity and low flow resistance, mainly for on-off control of medium. It is a universal type for general industrial piping, with high interchangeability of spare parts.
2. V-Port Ball
    
   V-shaped opening design, the flow area can be accurately adjusted by rotating the sphere angle, realizing stepless flow regulation. It can replace traditional flow control valves, suitable for precision flow control in petrochemical, chemical and municipal engineering.
3. 3-Way/4-Way Ball
    
   Multi-channel integrated design, which can realize medium diversion, confluence and multi-directional flow switching in one valve, simplifying complex pipeline layout. Applicable to multi-loop control systems in petrochemical and industrial process piping.
